Picture the marina and the town below, and a series of streets climbing the slope behind them — that's El Tezal. Because it sits higher up, many homes look straight out over the Sea of Cortez, the marina and the Pacific, which is exactly why the area is prized for sunset and water views you simply don't get at street level.

Geographically it's the connective tissue between two of Cabo's best-known zones: the buzz of downtown and the marina on one side, and the resort-lined Tourist Corridor (the highway toward San José del Cabo) on the other.
